In my storytelling workshops participants get the chance to become the storyteller themselves. We explore techniques that help learn, craft, create and tell stories. My view of workshops is that the participants should be doing the storytelling with my role being that of the guide, showing them the way to explore and enjoy stories. I have also done much work in how to take storytelling as a launch pad for the development of literacy skills in young learners.
My CPD sessions are aimed at teachers, education staff, librarians and those working with young people who would like to use storytelling as a way to work with young people. The CPD sessions are very practical and after taking part you will be able to put your newfound storytelling skills into action the very next day!
